Plano Molding 823-002 22-Inch Contractor Grade Toolbox Review

I've had this box for a couple of years now.It's a nice big box, but most of all it has TWO removable trays (and two little ones in the lid too).The top tray is shallow and divided into shallow compartments.The one underneath is a little bit deeper, and undivided.Remove the second tray, and you have the rest of the box, which is much deeper than the trays (good for drills, large hammers, everything else).The multi-trayed organization is great!It's much, much better than one large tool box where everything that doesn't fit in the top removable tray gets thrown into the bottom.

It's been especially good for me because I carry all my bike tools and my other tools in this one box.Bike specific tools, greases, and other products went mostly in the second tray, and other tools elsewhere.Always able to find the tool I need without riping the box apart.

The size means you'll be able to carry lots of stuff, which makes for a heavy box.There is a wheeled version, which I would strongly consider if I were to be transporting it all the time.

The lid has to be removed completely to access the inside, which is less nice than hinges, but it's a price worth paying for this tool box.This tool box has also served me well as a seat and a step stool.
