I have the OXO POP containers in several sizes. My kitchen is still not a paragon of organization, but I can't blame that on OXO.These containers work well for a variety of items, look attractive, feel attractive, and are easy to use. Bonus, the lids won't come off if the containers are lifted from the top. They do stack well, although the different shapes and sizes don't always have compatible footprints -- if your space is really tight, it may take some planning.
The major drawback is that the lid takes up over an inch of space, and if you overfill the container, the lid just won't close. It's not always obvious before the lid is on what's going to count as "overfilling".
Regardless, I've transferred nearly all my dry goods to these, then cut the labels off the original packaging and taped them to the front of the containers. I can tell at a glance what's in what.
This size is good for salt, baking soda and powder, and spices bought in bulk. It holds a little over a cup.
